Our Mission

John C. Daniels School of International Communication fosters a community of teachers and learners who view themselves as global citizens growing in their ability to communicate effectively in a diverse world. We develop higher order thinking skills through our HOT, Magnet and elementary Dual Language programs. We infuse arts and technology into the curricula so as to best prepare each unique child to be a productive, effective member of the 21st century society.

The students have done a great job settling into 3rd grade. We have a very busy fall calender. Here are some important dates to remember:

10/26/12- Edgarton Park visit 9:30-12:00pm (return to school for Hispanic Heritage celebration)

10/31/12- British Art Museum visit 9:30-11:00 (return to school for fall celebration) Please send a sugar pumpkin into school with your child. They may change into costumes and bring snacks to share

11/2/12- Sleeping Giant visit 9:30-1:00pm (we will have lunch at the top in the castle..they may bring snacks and water, and must wear sneakers!

11/8/12-Parent Literacy night in 3rd grade! Get ready for fun! We will read together and give you tips on how to help your child become a more active reader with better comprehension.
