Hello Families!

Tomorrow- Tuesday, September 17th, we will take our first math test. We have been doing math centers and practicing place value for a few weeks now. Students also brought home a review and study guide for homework tonight. Please go over this with your child to make sure they are prepared to write numbers in various forms, order and compare numbers, and determine the value of digits in different place value spots. 

Tomorrow is also OPEN HOUSE. We will be here in our classrooms from 5:00- 7:00 pm. Please come by to learn more about what we will learn this year in third grade and about our daily routine and activities. We will be presenting information at four different sessions (5, 5:30, 6 and 6:30 pm) Hope to see you there!

Good Morning!

Welcome to 3rd Grade! I hope that you have all enjoyed a fun and relaxing summer. I'm looking forward to meeting you all and starting another year of learning. Our first day is Thursday, August 29th. Here are a few materials that we will need in class this year:

- 1 composition notebook

- 1 two-pocket folder with prongs

- pencils and a pencil bag or box

- dry erase markers

- highlighter

If students could bring these materials in by Tuesday, September 3rd, that would be wonderful. If you would like to donate something extra, we could always use tissues, hand sanitizer, or extra pencils for the class.
