Due to the limited numbers of Chromebooks at this time, we are not able to supply technology to our Pre-K through 4^th grade students.  We are in the process of obtaining more to ensure that all families have a device. Once we have more, we will notify parents and distribute them accordingly.  

In the meantime, our teachers have created additional packets for the students to be able to continue learning. In order to distribute the packets in an orderly fashion and to comply with the “social distancing” requirements, we are going to adhere to a strict schedule.   

The pick-up date will be Wednesday, March 25th.  The schedule will be divided by grades. 

• Kindergarten and 1^st grade 9:00 -10:00
• 2^nd& 3^rdgrades 10:00-11:00
• 4^thgrade 11:00-12:00

Pre-K families please continue to communicate with your child’s teacher for appropriate activities and learning opportunities.  

En estos momentos no tenemos suficiente Chromebooks para entregar a los niños en Preescolar hasta cuarto grado debido a la poca cantidad que había en la escuela.  Estamos en el proceso de obtener mas chromebooks para asegurar que todas nuestras familias puedan tener un dispositivo.  Cuando tengamos las Chromebooks disponibles, les notificare a los padres y haremos los arreglos para entregar los Chromebooks. Mientras tanto, nuestras maestras, han hechos mas paquetes de trabajo para que los niños puedan seguir trabajando a través de su casa.  

Para poder entregar los paquetes de trabajo con orden y asegurando que estamos siguiendo los reglamentos del gobierno de mantener distancia social, necesitamos que sigan un horario.

Van a poder recoger los paquetes de trabajo, el miércoles 25 de marzo.  El horario esta dividido por grado.  Por favor de escuchar cuidadosamente la siguiente información que te da los detalles de cuando vas a poder venir a la escuela de John C. Daniels para recoger los paquetes de trabajo.

• Los salones de Jardín de infancia y primer grade de 9-10
• Segundo grado a tercer grado de 10-11
• Cuarto grado de 11-12

Las familias de los salones de preescolar deben de seguir comunicándose con las maestras de sus hijos(as) para mas actividades apropiados y oportunidades de aprendizaje.

Technology for Distance Learning

This message is for families in 5th - 8th grade

We have been working diligently to ensure we are providing resources to all of our students, including the technology needed to complete work from home.  Currently, we have enough Chromebooks to supply our 5^th through 8^th graders one per family. We are working to acquire additional machines for our younger grades.

The pick-up date is Monday March 23rd. Distribution will take place between 9:00 and 12:15. In order to distribute the technology in an orderly fashion and comply with the “social distancing” requirements, we are going to adhere to the strict schedule below.

Pick up will be according to LAST NAME. 

• A through D    9 :00 - 9:45
• E through I      9:45-10:15
• J through M   10:15-11:00
• N through R   11:00-11:30
• S through Z    11:30-12:15

With the Chromebook, we have included your child’s log-in information and a power cord.  

Only the adult responsible for the child may pick-up the Chromebook and must have identification.

Hemos estado trabajando diligentemente para asegurar que estamos proveyendo recursos para nuestros estudiantes.  Incluido en los recursos es la tecnología que necesitan para completar las asignaciones desde su casa.  Actualmente, tenemos suficiente Chromebeooks para suministrar a los niños de quinto a octavo grado, asignando una Chromebook por familia.  Estamos en el proceso de conseguir mas chromebooks para poder proveer a las demás familias, pero queríamos entregar los que teníamos.  Para poder entregar los Chromebooks con orden y asegurando que estamos siguiendo los reglamentos del gobierno de mantener distancia social, Necesitamos que sigan un horario.

Van poder recoger los chromebooks, mañana lunes 23 de marzo.  El horario esta dividido por apellido.  Por favor de escuchar cuidadosamente la siguiente información que te detalla la hora que vas a poder venir a la escuela de John C. Daniels para recoger el Chromebook.

Si su apellido empieza con las letras 

• A  hasta D     9 a 9:45
• E hasta I        9:45 a 10:15
• J hasta M       10:15  a 11:00
• N hasta R       11:00  a 11:30
• S hasta Z        11:30 a 12:15

Con los chromebooks, se le va a entregar un cable para cargar el Chromebook y la información de inicio de sesión.  El adulto que es responsable para el niño (a), es la única persona que puede venir a recoger el Chromebook con identificación.
