Dear parents and families,

This year, as part of the district wide Michigan Model for health, 4th graders begin learning about puberty.  This unit is only an introduction and we will be discussing the changes that occur during puberty, both physical and emotional. We will set guidelines for our discussions and all lessons will be treated seriously.

This is an important unit and it is my hope that all students are included in the discussion. However if you do not want your child to join the class for this unit please sign below.  If this slip is not returned, your child will be included in the unit.

Good evening JCD families, 

Unfortunately, I am out with the flu and will not be able to meet with you tomorrow.  Ms. Jaca will still hold conferences and give out student report cards, but if you'd like to meet with me as well, please email me to schedule a time.
