The Reading Inventory (R.I.) testing window is open from October 1st to October 26th. This test is administered to students in grades 3-8.  Students in Read 180 (5th-8th) are given the test during their Read 180 intervention period.  The schedule is as follows:

October 2nd:                 Grades 5 and 6

October 4th & 11th:      Grade 4

October 4th and 5th:     Grades 7 and 8

October 9th & 11th        Grade 3

Make-up sessions will be scheduled as needed.

Reading is THINKING Parent Night:  For parents with students in grades 3-8

Please join Mrs. McGovern and myself on Tuesday, October 2 from 5:30 to 6:15 in the JCD Library to hear information and engage in conversations around the following topics:

  1. Why Read? The importance of READING!
  2. The Reading Inventory (R.I.): What is it all about?
  3. Reading Rockstar Challenge: Battle of the Books (Grades 3-6)

Light snackes will be provided
