Mrs.O'Shea's 3-5 Classes---Hockey!

Darcy Blaszczyk-O'Shea is a Physical Education/Health Teacher at John C. Daniels.  Spending her youth and young adult years playing softball and soccer, she has a passion for health and wellness.  She is very active participating in yoga, cycling, and several recreational sports.  Mrs. O'Shea obtain her Bachelor's of Science in Physical Education from Central Connecticut State  University in 2005.  Before teaching in New Haven she spent time teaching High School Physical Education in West Hartford, CT and Elementary Physical Education in Region 14.  Mrs. O'Shea enjoys teaching in an urban community and looks forward to continuing her career here in New Haven.  Mrs. O'Shea will begin her Master's in Teacher's Leadership in the fall of 2017 and follow up with a doctorate in Educational Leadership in the coming years. Until then she is enjoying teaching in the gymnasium of JCD.
